Pillsbury’s New Cornbread Swirls Are a Comfort Food Dream Come True

Who doesn’t love cracking into a tube of Pillsbury crescent rolls, biscuits, or cinnamon rolls? We’d argue that the “pop” makes their delicious treats taste even better — or at least a bit more fun to whip up. Now you can get that same satisfaction while breaking into their latest scrumptious product: Cornbread Swirls.

Don’t get us wrong, we love making cornbread from scratch or adding a few extras to a boxed mix, but sometimes we want to chow down without having to trot out our mixing bowls.

“Pillsbury Cornbread Swirls are the easiest way to home baked cornbread, with minimal mess and prep time,” the company explains on their website. “These delicious Cornbread Swirls are the perfect addition to your family meal —as a side or as part of a tasty recipe. Each package includes 6 pre-cut swirls. Just place and bake each swirl in a muffin tin and it’s ready to serve in under 20 minutes!”

Sounds pretty perfect to us! And they also offer a few ways you can get creative with the swirls by wrapping them around hot dogs for a twist on pigs in a blanket, or stuff in some bacon and cheese for a quick and yummy breakfast.

Basically, think of all the ways you’ve already loved using their rolls and biscuits and imagine doing the same with a delightful cornbread flavor instead. You can check your local grocery stores or online ($2.48, Walmart) to get cooking. We’ll definitely be adding them to our carts ASAP!
