Take a look at the easy recipe below:

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. 65% dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1⁄2 cup heavy cream
  • 1⁄4 cup malted milk powder
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 (1.2 oz.) pkg. freeze-dried strawberries, ground, about 1⁄4 cup

Instructions:

  • In heatproof bowl, combine chocolate, cream, milk powder and butter; set over pot of hot, not simmering water. Stir until melted and smooth.
  • Remove bowl from pot; vigorously whisk until mixture is glossy and thick. Mixture will resemble pudding. Cover; chill at least 4 hrs.
  • Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Working with one at a time, scoop chocolate mixture into 2-tablespoonful portions; lightly roll between hands into balls. Place on baking sheet; chill until almost firm.
  • Place ground strawberries in shallow bowl. Add balls; roll until evenly coated. Return to baking sheet; chill.
  • Store truffles in refrigerator until ready to serve.

If you want to add some extra flavor, Debbie says, “You can roll the balls in coconut, sprinkles, or powdered sugar, too!”
