Is that you, Martha Stewart? It’s hard to think of a time when she wasn’t the lifestyle guru and cooking master we know and love today, but the 76-year-old’s recent Instagram photo from when she was young proves there actually was once a time. Check out the video above to see Martha’s sexy throwback picture!
“My assistant found this great photo of me in my library at Turkey Hill,” she wrote in the caption. “Wish it was taken last month!!! Photo by Henry Wolf.” In the photo, the former model stunned in a black strapless minidress and high heels, with her hair longer and bigger than we’ve ever seen it.
Although the blonde beauty didn’t specify what year the photo was taken, some of her followers are speculating that it was from the ’80s — and her glamorous fashion choices point to that timeframe as well. “Even @marthastewart48 knew what the ’80s was about!!! #GoodBigHair #LongLegs,” one person wrote in the comments section. “Wow, that has to be ’80s hair!! ????,” another fan added. If this is the case, Martha was probably somewhere in her early to mid-40s in the pic.
Others added their own comments, gushing over the stunning, younger Martha. “Absolutely stunning and gorgeous. Even to this day you still are @marthastewart48,” a third fan said, while another added, “She was a knockout then and is a regal beauty now!”
Since the photo was taken, Martha has been up to quite a lot. In fact, she recently exclusively revealed to Closer that she’s working on her memoir. “I love to stay busy, and it’s great that I can continue to choose what I want to do,” she said in an October 2017 interview. “There’s a lot I still have to do — like write my autobiography!”
“She’s been putting down ideas for two years,” an insider close to the New Jersey native further revealed. “It’s really been a passion of hers; Martha finds ways to squirrel away an hour or two every day to work on it. Martha wants to present the story of how she dealt with setbacks and reclaimed her life to the point where she is as happy as she’s ever been. It isn’t just about business — it was about finding something inside herself,” the friend continued. We’d love to hear more about her younger years in it — and hopefully, the book will be filled with even more throwbacks.
